Responsible for overseeing a retail property management team in Austin areas (client relations, budget preparation, capital expenditure review, CAM reconciliations, monthly financial reporting, vendor contract negotiations, lease abstracting, etc.). Provide property management oversight for 3rd party and joint venture retail properties including receivership and foreclosure properties.

Provided day-to-day property management of twelve retail and three office properties in the Austin Area (client relations, budget preparation, capital expenditure review, CAM reconciliations, monthly financial reporting, vendor contract negotiations, etc.).

Provided oversight of the retail property management team in Dallas, and assisted asset management on properties in Texas and Colorado. Provided property management for 3rd party retail properties including receivership and foreclosure properties.

Performed disposition underwriting and prepared Financial Supplement documents for marketing assignments and RFP’s using Argus and Excel analytical models for over 23 million square feet of office with a total property value of over $3.0 billion.

Provided valuation analysis of potential acquisitions for multi-family, industrial, office and retail properties utilizing Argus and Excel to determine feasibility and price for assets. Prepared Investment Committee packages and co-presented to IRE Investment Committee. Performed both on and off-site due diligence and researched market conditions, rent/sales comparable analysis and determined adjustments to underwriting based on these findings as well as engineering and environmental studies. Oversaw four financial analysts and preparation of extensive valuations for more than 300 investment grade assets of all property types for purposes of portfolio management, asset management, lease analysis and disposition analysis.

Asset Manager for a million sf retail portfolio that averaged approximately 200,000 square feet each. Oversaw both property management/leasing personnel (budget review and approval, monthly financial review, monitored delinquencies, capital expenditures, set leasing objectives, negotiated and analyzed new, renewal and expansion lease transactions).Junior Asset Manager for a regional real estate portfolio with an aggregate value of $75 million.

Part time position while finishing college degree. Oversaw small office for individual real estate investor and assisted in the development of a neighborhood strip center in Fort Worth, Texas. Provided day to day property management (financial monthly reporting to partners, negotiated vendor contracts, CAM reconciliations, lease administration, accounts payable/receivable, etc.).

Assisted in the completion of eleven retail redevelopment projects throughout the United States. Oversaw multimillion-dollar Corporate Budget for Insignia’s Investment Group (redevelopment, development, acquisitions, construction & marketing divisions). Managed over 800,000 square feet of retail property within the Dallas Metroplex. Additional property oversight in Kansas City and Tucson.
