Volunteer Monitoring of the Freescale Department of Labor Petitions for Trade Adjustment Assistance. (TAA)This included a weekly with the Department of Labor and a weekly with the State of Texas which resulted in a user newsletter for updates on all of the petitions filed by Freescale Employees. Requested and help to organize an Information session conducted by the State of Texas and the Texas Workforce Commission for TAA/TRA information for Freescale employees. My petition alone resulted in 90 Freescale employees being eligible for training or schooling in helping to find a job. At one point during the early stages of the petitions there were 985 Freescale employees on Unemployment insurance. A great understanding of TAA was gained during this process.

In Situ Particle Monitoring (ISPM). Team Leader for yield enhancement and reduction of particle levels on the MRC Eclipse sputter Tool though the use of the HYT (division of Pacific Scientific) particle monitoring sensor. Setup and purchasing of all related materials: computer system, sensors, software and installation on sputter Tool. Data from the ISPM is being used to monitor, modify and control processes so the yield loss from particles is reduced. -Patent received-
