To provide educational, vocational community based experiences to Transitional Youth and Young Adults that have barriers to employment.

Supervised and trained staff from specialists to secretaries, clerks and data analyst performing annual evaluations as well as being the coordinator of family focused services. Oversaw support of Parent Partners and Community Consultants managing the contracted staff of consultants for Transition, Autism, Community and Summer Options. Served as department liaison on Labor Management, Centralized Maintenance and Eligibility Team for consumer Intake board-wide committees.Worked directly with the Ohio AfterSchool Association, Northwest Ohio AfterSchool Affiliation on family directed initiatives.Instrumental in assisting with the development of the yearly budget, grant development, and fiscal responsibilities associated with Family and Student Connections.Collaborated with agencies on the development of a matching Federal grant to bring Initiatives that Work Internships (IWI) to Northwest Ohio young adults with Developmental Disabilities.

Coordinated and supervised the summer and fall residential camp program. Developed and organized all aspects of the creation and implementation of programs from yearly evaluations of full time and part time staff to the yearly assessment of all programs.Accountable for all personnel policies, maintained National Accreditation with American Camping Association, assessment and evaluation of kitchen and aquatics facilities for the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department. Developed the yearly budget, directly involved in writing of grants or working with a hired Grant Writer and handled all other fiscal responsibilities associated with the summer and fall programs.

Provided instruction to undergraduate and graduate level students in Therapeutic Recreation, General Recreation, and General Education. Developed coursework in Introduction to Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation for People with Disabilities, and Internship Supervision.

Coordinated and conducted all aspects of the Adult and School Age Recreation program from developing to supervising implementation of the programs. Supervised and conducted evaluations of full time and part time staff members along with performed assessment of developmentally disabled individuals for community-based recreational programs while serving as a member of Individual Habilitation Programs as CTRS.Directed the staff responsible for a community-based Senior Program, which involved care plan teams for residents of Long Term Care facilities and also served as Coordinator for Senior Interest Program. Provided administration of area programs and sports training schools for coaches, officials and athlete clinics. Established new Special Olympics organizations while holding the position of Director of Area IV Special Olympics. Worked on public relations (PR) to emphasize public awareness to Special Olympics. Ensured all adherences to State Office policies were followed and application for Area Accreditation and Area goals were completed. Implemented and developed all Area Event opportunities in every sport offered at the State Chapter Level, which included competitions in all 10 Northwest Counties for venues in Track and Field, Basketball Tournaments, Swim Meets, Adapted Aquatics, Cycling, and Developmental and Motor Activities. Managed the budgeting, fundraising projects, cost controls, athlete outreach and retention along with coordinated and conducted local Special Olympics programs within Fulton County supervising the athletes and volunteers.
