Co-ordination of school wellbeing hub and the 'Youth Board' - a group of young people who support the strategic development of Streetwise. Sexual health delivery including C-Card.

I led on organising the youth elections and 'Make Your Mark' vote for the whole county of Northumberland. I ensured this election was as wide reaching and inclusive as possible – such as working closely with children in care, those who are permanently excluded as well as targeting marginalised groups via pre-existing community groups. This included working alongside schools to find key contacts who could support the delivery on sites, around 80 education providers as well as voluntary sector organisations. I created a county-wide elearning package to ensure professionals were participative in their work, encouraging community-led work in a range of fields. I also supported five groups for young people from a range of marginalised backgrounds, including Youth Cabinet and Parliament.

My main responsibility in this role was for the planning, delivery and evaluation of a 'ChangeMaker Volunteers' programme. This project included supporting young volunteers to consult with their peers on their needs, hopes and dreams. This was one tool we used to promote the participation of young people in the organisation. The findings of this consultation were used to feed into strategic plans for the organisation to ensure we were meeting the needs of the young people. The findings of this consultation were put into a report which was presented to MPs in Parliament. I was also responsible for the planning of residentials as part of this project.I was the lead worker on detached sessions in this role and also informally supported a first year youth work student. In this role I was also responsible for securing funding via bid writing and other fundraising activities. I had to ensure I was always working within the secured budgets.

Delivered weekly drop-in and detached sessions. Responsible for the planning and delivery of these sessions as well as monitoring and evaluation. Focus on sexual health and open-access youth sessions. Responsible for quarterly reports to funders.
