Founding CBO/CMO and Board Director from inception to growth stage. SweetLabs was one of the first app distribution/monetization companies, backed by Bessemer, Google Ventures, Intel Capital, OATV, and Reid Hoffman and drove over 1B app installs. The company bought out its investors at a healthy return (~2-6X DPI for Series A-C) and remains independent and very profitable to this day.Ran all GTM including Sales (100% CAGR since inception), BD (partnerships with Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Lenovo, etc), Marketing (featured in WSJ, NY Times, Bloomberg, etc), Fundraising, Corp Dev. Transitioned out in 2015 to scratch my 7-year itch.

Early GTM (Sales/BD) lead from pre-revenue to $100M+ and a $1B public company. After taking the company public in '06, DivX was acquired in '09. Worked on everything from licensing to OEM to software distribution / monetization to video advertising to international expansion (EMEA, LATAM, APAC) to running 8-figure BUs. Learned a ton.Prior to departure, was part of team that tried to spin out Stage6 (20M MAU, Alexa top 50 US), a high-quality user-generated video site competing with YouTube. Secured $25M in venture funding but couldn't make a spinout deal work.

Learned from a talented team that managed MP3.com's music marketing platforms, which Vivendi Universal eventually acquired them for for $375M. Also had a front row seat as the company went from one of the most successful IPOs of its time to one of the craziest legal throwdowns of the era.

First taste of startup action, which got me hooked. Summer internship for Mayfield/DFJ/NEA-backed Netcentives, which my big bro founded and grew to a billion dollar public company before it unfortunately flamed out during the crash. Incredible experience, thanks bro.
