In following that, I have made it part of my professional lifestyle as well. I am very interested in both human capital improvements and technological advancements to make the workplace more efficient. I am a firm believer that improving employee satisfaction is a key to successful businesses. This also needs to be paired with optimizing the work environment using technology. Skeptics believe that technology will lead to a automated workplace, but research has shown that true efficiency lies in augmentation. This makes human capital more important than ever and I find passion in developing the person along with technology. The phrase "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" is a phrase that I am repulsed by and challenge anyone who uses it in any way I can. In my work environments, my supervisors often hear my endless rants of new ideas every month, even when less than 10% of them make it to the next level of consideration. I am always looking for ways to be better.In my free time, as well as my professional time, I encourage socialization. Talking with family, friends, and strangers is important in this interconnected world. Many of those around us are distracted, but want to socialize with others. I simply give them an excuse to do so by making the first move. I take time to travel to new places and meet new people in my personal life and try to attend many conferences in my professional life as well. When training new staffs, I emphasize the importance of being acquainted with one another on more than just the professional level. Though strangers sometimes give me an expression of fear, confusion, or even disgust that I try to engage them, I continue to do so because I believe in the importance of socializing.Some personal accomplishments:- Completed thirty-hours of mediation training in accordance with M.G.L. ch.233 § 23C at Questrom School of Business- Eagle Scout with knowledge of survival training & first aid- Dance enthusiast with experience in hip-hop, swing, salsa, and country line dancing- Game design enthusiast, with focus in RPGs.
