I completed numerous trainings, began work on a few audit preparation processes, and completed an inventory count which included documentation for a client audit. I also practiced teaching, mentoring, and leadership as a training instructor to our new Ambassadors. It was my job to create the schedule, be in the office for each tour time making sure that sufficient Ambassadors were present for each prospective student group, and communicate with Ambassadors regarding tardiness or absence from their tour responsibilities. In addition to weekly tour times, Ambassadors were expected to give eight tours to private groups per semester. It was my responsibility to create and update a private group sign-up sheet, keep track of each Ambassador's progress toward completion of their required private tours, and assist Ambassadors who were struggling with scheduling these tours. Lastly, I regularly monitored the SDSU Ambassadors email address, communicating with numerous departments on campus as well as questions from prospective students and parents, and was the point of contact for Ambassadors during all events. In addition to forming great relationships with an extremely helpful and friendly staff, I was able to learn a great deal about audits, reviews, compilations, and prepared financial statements.
