In the role I take designs from the Engineering department and break down the sheet metal parts for manufacturing. Consideration into sheet size and Trumpf punching machine must be taken into account and also the total scrap rate per sheet. Parts are then released to be manufacturing to be made. I support the process until the oven is completed.

Senior level designer working on Industrial oven that are used in multiple industries from pharmaceutical to defense. Responsibility include, design, drafting, manufacturing support as required to complete the oven. In this position Solid Edge 2018 was used.

Designer Design and drafting support of a new sampling tool that is currently under testing after the initial design was worked on. My duties included new part design and tool layout working under a Engineers guidance. Worked on concept layouts with several creative design to fit within the tool boundaries and conditions. Previous work within Schlumberger including an upgrade to the Mechanical Sidewall Coring Tool to provide the clients cores that were twice as big as the original cores. Responsible for design, drafting and documentation of the part and assembly files to be provided to the machine shops and the assemblers. Additional duties include design and drafting support on the current production MSCT tool. Software used in this position is Pro-E Creo and AutoCAD 2009.

Duties at National Oilwell included design and drafting working on conveyor systems that are used on an offshore oil rigs. Responsible for resolving manufacturing issue that are found during the manufacturing process. This included tolerance stack up issues, and making design changes that are required to be able to manufacture the conveyor system. Worked directly with the weld shop and assembly area.Software used in this position were Pro-Engineer Wildfire and AutoCAD 2005.
