Founding member of a 3 person tech startup. Responsible for all aspect of IoT devices from cloud deployment to PCB design at different stage of the company • Developed software for bluetooth enabled microcontrollers (Nordic nRF52840, nRF5340) using vendor preferred SDK (nRF Connect SDK, based on Zephyr, sensor vendor HALs included) • Wrote a Low-Power Wide-Area (LPWA) module device driver in Zephyr to enable nRF5340 system commuications to the IoT network • Produced PCB designs for fabrication from component selection, schematics, footprints to board layout with Altium Designer • Acted as the point of contact for overseas/local PCB manufacturers • Developed a prototype of bluetooth and 4G enabled device with an iMX8 along with a data ingestion script in a Amazon EC2 instance, both written in Python • Developed a prototype of a web interface (with React) powered by AWS cloud infrastructure • Deployed devices to country Victoria sites

Worked as a early member in a student-led team designing and building Mars rovers for the international University Rover Challenge (URC) held in Utah, USA, in which robots compete different tasks. In our first year at the 2018 URC in Utah, we placed 14th out of 96 international competitors and were the first Australian team to qualify for the competition. I had• Achieved autonomous driving of the rover using a LiDAR sensor and several other MEMS sensors. (Python / C++)• Developed the driving system of the rover by utilizing automotive grade microcontrollers (PIC).• Helped set up radio communication between base station and the rover.

• Processed satellite (ADACS) data using Python and wrote unit tests to debug code with pytest• Debugged satellite mission control dashboard (Django)• Conducted software and hardware testing for customer product (a modem that combines LoRaWAN gateway and SATCOM module) before delivery• Conducted software compatibility test for third party LoRaWAN sensor nodes with the modem and sensor message decoding• Added function to the modem software interface (custom built from LoRa App Server - Golang, React)• Drafted a mechanical solution to limit rotation of the satellite dish with roller-lever limit switches• Helped with product packaging, component arrangement and soldering
