Mr. Roach joined Brailsford & Dunlavey in 2007, and currently serves as Executive Director in the firm’s higher education practice group. In this capacity, he collaborates with institutional leaders to articulate the outcomes, attributes, and capacities required to achieve their organization’s targeted new reality, and then guides the prioritization of physical and operational initiatives according to their potential impact—ensuring long-term institutional viability in alignment with their permanent ideals.Mr. Roach also provides his clients with deep experience planning and implementing capital and operating solutions, collectively valued at more than $2 billion, including those requiring institutionally driven public-private partnerships (P3). Specifically, he has served as the primary owner’s representative in managing the design and construction of numerous campus quality-of-life facilities—student housing, student unions, campus dining, large event venues, campus recreation, and intercollegiate athletics—all delivered on time and on budget.While Mr. Roach’s tenure with B&D started in the District of Columbia, he has also served previously as Regional Vice President for the firm’s southeast operations, helping to establish regional offices in Charlotte and Atlanta. Additionally, Mr. Roach previously served as B&D’s Executive Director of Management Advisory Services, overseeing the firm’s management consulting and energy and sustainability practice groups.
