Leading a team of 20 members and delivering PGW, GGSN, SGW, SAEGW solutions on the Cisco ASR5000/5500 and QVPC-DI/SI platforms to over 300 customers worldwide. Playing an integral part in the Cisco strategy to transform from a Waterfall Model to Agile and Continuous Delivery Model. Driving the strategic efforts within Bearer Plane team wrt scrum team formations, process definitions and metric definitions. Using a blend of leadership and technical skills to drive the existing product line business as well as contributing to forward looking technologies like IoT, CUPS, SDN, NFV etc. Involved in high-level design, implementation and testing reviews for EPC GW features. Joined the Sandvine India team as one of their earliest members and successfully delivered their first in house product (Fairshare Wireless Traffic Management solution). As a QA lead I was managing a team of 17 engineers who were engaged in functional, system, 3rd party lab and performance testing. Driving and strategizing the QA part of the project right from an idea stage to planning stage and then to execution stage. Responsibilities include team formation, strategic vision, KPI and metric definition, best practice creation and overall process adherence. Technical analysis of customer requirements and brainstorming with key technical and management teams and deciding scope of the project. Interacting with Design team for requirements analysis. Resource estimation, test tools selection, project planning and test strategy preparation for system, soak, performance, scalability and external live lab testing. Tracking weekly progress of execution, triaging of bugs, identifying and analyzing risks and sending weekly reports to management. Monitoring and collecting project related metrics. Coordinating test efforts with other cross function teams like Program Management/ Engineering to ensure the pace of the overall project objectives to be on track during all the phases of the project cycle

I was involved in three major projects (PGW QA, Mobile IPv6 and IPv6 QA, PDSN/HA Feature QA) over a period of five years showing consistent growth from an individual contributor to a lead position. As one of the earliest QA members in the LTE project on Cisco’s ASR5K platform, responsibilities involve starting and driving the project from scratch. Responsible for creation of project plans, feature checklists, test suites, conducting internal and external reviews planning and testing of S5/S8, S11, Gx, S6b, SGi, S6b, Rf interfaces and ECSv2 (deep packet inspection) on the PGW.
