Earth-i delivers global, timely and assured imagery and analytics, using high-resolution multi-sensor satellite data including video from space, to generate actionable insights for a range of clients in the financial services, agri-tech, transport, construction, mining, energy and public sectors. As Head of Institutional Engagement, my role is to build and develop relationships and R&D project opportunities with national and international institutions for customers seeking timely insights from geospatial information including satellite Earth Observation. My role extends to overseeing the delivery of those projects through to completion, and supporting their transition into self-sustaining commercial propositions.

I was chair of the board of directors of the European Association of Remote Sensing Companies (EARSC), the trade association representing the interests and ambitions of the Earth Observation services industry in Europe, from 2016 to 2021. I previously served as vice-chair of this board from 2010-2016, and have been a director of the association since 2008.

UKspace is the trade association of the UK space industry, with a mission to promote the best commercial, political and public environment for the UK space industry. It includes companies from across the whole spectrum of space activities with large, small and start-up organisations represented. I served as Chair of the Earth Observation Committee, which includes over 25 UK organisations engaged in EO business, in 2017-18.

I previously served as Vice-Chair of this committee from 2014-16.

I joined Logica (now CGI) in July 1995 and managed a variety of projects and bids in the space and defence sectors in the period 1995-2006.
