Day to day support of Pharmacy Incidents across Shoppers Drug Mart, Loblaw, and Medisystem Banners. Supporting on privacy related incidents for -non-pharmacy business units within the organization (Dietitian services, The Beauty Clinic, Wellwise, and Medical Clinics). Engaging internal stakeholders (legal, regulatory, media, privacy office, or customer service) to assist in ensuring appropriate action plans are developed. Working alongside other pharmacy software support teams to scope out and develop solutions for system related incidents in a timely manner and complete communications to pharmacy team.Regular review of pharmacy incidents and the incident management process and annual review of pharmacy incident SOPS to capture learning opportunities for Pharmacy teams, developing opportunities for improvement for pharmacy tools and processes (e.g., software enhancements, and training) to ensure that patient safety and quality improvements are shared. Sharing best practices through communications, initiatives, and newsletters. Providing essential clinical input during review of all Drug Recalls, pharmacy materials, professional service documents (ie. clinical pearls), and marketing material regarding medications, natural health products, and medical devices with a safety and risk mitigation approach in mind.
