• Primarily focused on developing large utility-scale wind and solar energy power facilities.• Provides integral support for the ground-up development of a $700 Million, 400MW wind project (the 3rd largest wind project in the United States) among other solar and distributed energy projects.• Engages in complex financial issues regarding: tax equity financing, sponsor equity, 1603 grants, production tax credits, financial modeling, investment tax credits, fundraising, investment banking, large contract negations, equity distributions, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Special Purpose Entities (Vehicles), off-taker agreements, REC and SRECs, joint ventures, electricity hedge contracts, federal and regional government initiatives and barriers, request for proposals (RFPs), among numerous other considerations. • Put into practice knowledge of engineering aspects relating to renewable energy technologies, efficiency modeling, site monitoring and prequalification, transmission line interconnection, and physics-based inputs. • Additionally support operations by single-handedly: writing various integral contracts, writing executive summaries, writing press releases, doing micro and macro industry analysis, legal oversight of corporate entities and negotiating asset purchases as well as mergers. • Responsible for attaining new large projects for an equity share and attaining new project investors.
