Little bit about me....I love the satisfaction of having a part in life-changing outcomes for founders and management.SaaS founders require representation in today's market environment. Founders have to be great at building scalable, high-margin products that delight customers, as well as the underlying organization that support that. On the other hand, institutional buyers of these businesses (Private/Growth Equity and Strategic Acquirers) are employed to find and close the best (read: lowest priced) deals possible. Over my career, I have developed a skillset in harmonizing buyer and seller relationships and valuations, allowing all parties to be satisfied and sellers to walk away with as much cash and as little risk as possible.I am a co-founder of IKONA Partners, an investment banking firm advising buyers and sellers in the software space through M&A, recaps, raises, and other liquidity transactions. At IKONA and past firms, I have helped originate, market, negotiate, structure, and close transactions worth over $3 Billion in cash proceeds for founders and shareholders of SaaS businesses.I have spent over eight years advising a range of private, public, bootstrapped, VC-backed, and PE-owned technology businesses on sales, acquisitions, recapitalizations, and debt and equity capital raises. With deep sector expertise in EdTech, field service, professional services, healthcare, GRC, travel/hospitality, GovTech, media/sports/entertainment, real estate, sales/marketing, and cleanTech, I'm always available to provide insight to SaaS leadership into how best to position your business for the ideal future outcome.Before co-founding IKONA Partners, I was part of Vista Point Advisors advising on SaaS M&A, Greentech Capital Advisors advising on sustainable infrastructure and technology M&A, and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey originating corporate banking relationships.‍Whenever I (rarely) find myself outside of work, I am spending time with my wife and two daughters. I've managed to get all three hooked on tennis.
