I am tasked with the implementation of the Partnership of the Caribbean and the European Union on Justice ("PACE Justice) Project in Guyana, is which aimed and reducing current, and preventing future backlog in Guyana's criminal justice system.The PACE Justice Project is being implemented across several Caribbean jurisdictions, including Guyana, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Antigua and Barbuda, Belize, Dominica, Saint Lucia, and Saint Kitts and Nevis.

Drafted a legal opinion on whether an applicant met the criteria to invoke the CCJ's Original Jurisdiction; and3. Along with my fellow intern, executed comparative quantitative research and analysis on levels of access by Barbados and Belize to the Caribbean Court of Justice since these jurisdictions signed onto the Court's Appellate Jurisdiction, as compared to access by applicants in Grenada, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Antigua and Barbuda to the Privy Council.
