I am tasked with the implementation of the Partnership of the Caribbean and the European Union on Justice ("PACE Justice) Project in Guyana, is which aimed and reducing current, and preventing future backlog in Guyana's criminal justice system.The PACE Justice Project is being implemented across several Caribbean jurisdictions, including Guyana, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Antigua and Barbuda, Belize, Dominica, Saint Lucia, and Saint Kitts and Nevis.

Oil Now is Guyana’s premier source of developments on Guyana’s oil and gas sector. I run the Column ’Distilling Guyana’s Regulatory Framework’, where I map, and break down Guyana’s oil and gas regulatory framework.

I run the ‘Lets Gyaff Law’ Column, where I break down various laws of Guyana. Articles are published weekly.

I am a (Commonwealth) Caribbean trained attorney admitted to practice in Guyana. I am not admitted to practice in the United States, but I have been assigned to the Firm's International Corporate Finance, and International Arbitration Groups, assisting various teams with research and other relevant services provided to various local, regional, and international companies, as well as sovereign clients.

Tasks completed included:1. Drafted a legal opinion on a live matter involving Guyanese land law; 2. Drafted a legal opinion on whether an applicant met the criteria to invoke the CCJ's Original Jurisdiction; and3. Along with my fellow intern, executed comparative quantitative research and analysis on levels of access by Barbados and Belize to the Caribbean Court of Justice since these jurisdictions signed onto the Court's Appellate Jurisdiction, as compared to access by applicants in Grenada, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Antigua and Barbuda to the Privy Council.

Legal Research and Drafting.

Supported the development of legal project documents (e.g. employee agreement forms, code of conduct, and liability waiver forms); Provide editorial support for all survey related documents and reports; Serve as the primary editor for final project report; Any other related support as required by the project

I covered National Assembly sittings as well as General Parliamentary Affairs. This included debates on motions and bills, bids for increased independence as well as the work of Parliamentary Committees. I also covered Local Government issues, including Local Government Elections and issues faced by local government organs and local various communities.
