Hi, it is a pleasure to have you! As a current nursing student, as well as a full-time athlete on my college's division 1 dance team, it should be noted that the aspects of time management, critical thinking, and remaining organized are readily encompassed within my skill set. In fact, these skills equip me with the tools that are needed to obtain my interests of becoming a successful critical care registered nurse, in addition to fulfilling my goal of becoming a family nurse practitioner later in practice. As for me, I felt called to the nursing profession, not only to serve others, but to further make a positive impact on those around me. With that being stated, I plan on positively impacting lives along with making a difference by keeping integrity, dedication, and compassion at the center of it all. In addition, because I have the Seal of Bi-literacy in Spanish, it has established a way for me to communicate and connect with others that differ from myself. Lastly, because I have been a competitive dancer since the age of 7, I understand the importance of working hard and never giving up on your dreams or your teammates around you; with that being stated, I look forward to working for a healthcare company who values collaboration, compassion, and hard work.

  As a successful competitive dancer for the past twelve years, my knowledge consists of the best tips and tricks from a numerous amount of choreographers. Therefore, I have been presented with opportunities to mentor, teach, and work with children ranging from ages 2 -18, whom all come from different racial backgrounds at my dance studio in Pomona, California. During class time, I teach about 20 kids all at once and promote a happy and healthy learning environment, regardless if the style being taught is slow-classical ballet or fast-upbeat hip hop. Not to mention, with my ability in dance, it has equipped me with a skill set that has allowed me to assist my coach not only in California, but also in various dance studios across the country such as: Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, Maryland, and New York.
