Worked as a sales associate for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I worked closely with visitors and was responsible for selling memberships asking when merchandise for the Great Smoky Mountains Association. I was also responsible for counting inventory and unloading shipment on Fridays at Clingmans Dome. I opened and closed the visitor centers and the registers for the stores.

I developed and present both formal and informal programs, educating the public, patrolled the area for wildlife, was apart of the social media team for my district, tested the water at the visitor center, and worked behind the desk interacting with visitors.

I worked as a server at Mellow Mushroom in downtown Charleston while living in South Carolina for the year. I was able to increase and better my interpersonal skills which allowed me to make connections. I was also able to better my customer service and time management skills.

At Whole Foods Market, I was part of the Front End department. I held various positions such as; cashier, cart attendant, and grocery bagger. I also assisted the Floral department with preparing Christmas trees for customers. My time there allowed me to work on my interpersonal and time managing skills.

Holden Beach, North Carolina

My position at Coastal Transplants was to plant sea oats. I had to assist with connecting a water hose from a fire hydrant on the street and then roll the hose onto the beach to our work site. From there I would connect a water drill and blast one foot deep holes so that I could drop sea oat seeds into the hole, and finally, I was to cover the hole up with the water drill. I learned the importance of how sea oats fight against dune erosion and how they aid coastal ecosystems.
