This is my personal website and blog. I use it predominately for essay writing, where I assess and dissect the happenings around me in order to make sense of the world as I know it. I take pride in my ability to write and paint a vivid picture with my words, and this is my landing place for all of that.I have written all my life and, despite spending 3 years on my high school Yearbook staff writing copies for core classes, extracurriculars, sports events, school events, and after-school clubs, have just recently found a desire to take it seriously.

Responsibilities include Visual Merchandising, creation of new product, Customer Service, and Sales.

I was re-hired to Hallmark in March and was promoted to Keyholder in August. I work closely with the manager on all tasks (sales, service, visual merchandising, stock room needs and procedures) required of the business. I have been used at numerous other stores for shift coverage, support help, and remerchandising in accordance with remodels. I've been given the opportunity to aide in creation and sharing of social media content for our personal store (ex. Facebook and Instagram) in accordance with Hallmark guidelines. This, along with the merchandising requirements and the need for creative alternatives for problem-solving, allows me to flex the creative muscle I've been given.

Left the company in correlation with my store location closing.This was a great 'first job' opportunity, because I was given the chance to learn the power of connecting on a personal level with your customer, and was taught the importance of supporting local business.
