Responsibilities for this role include many of the responsibilities of the Associate Grant Researcher role: coordinating with other OPD team members to research, compile, publish, and distribute the Weekly Funding Bulletin, as well as researching individual funding opportunities and reviewing solicitations in order to assist with providing guidance on proposal development, keeping up to date on proposal guidelines for major government agencies in order to keep OPD document templates current, updating the OPD website as necessary, and keeping up to date on the current status of the proposal efforts of UAH faculty and staff.Additionally, this role requires the comprehensive editing of project narratives, project summaries, and other proposal documents, including editing for grammar, argument, and adherence to proposal guidelines. It also requires working with faculty and staff in other UAH offices to acquire all documentation needed for completing proposals, managing citations for proposals, researching and compiling lists of funding opportunities for individual faculty and staff, and reviewing and researching solicitations to create proposal checklists and outlines for faculty and staff who are preparing to write a proposal.
