•Created new Pre-Bill unit to perform demographic, insurance information and charge integrity audit prior to billing on all accounts•Implemented automated solutions to work by exception to lower touch rate•Together with B/AR analyst, implemented ANSI 837 HIPAA compliant billing for all payers•Monitor and address cash flow issues for billing impacts•Manage staff of 13 and 1 Supervisor•Maintain data integrity through claim mapping, NDC bridge routines, Chargemaster edits, selection reports and proration holds•Responsible for education of all Business Services staff on Medicare regulations, MSP data and other payer requirements during certification training•Managed transition from Medicare APASS adjudication software to FISS software including revised processes and staff training•Coordinate with Managed Care Contracting to test and implement new payer requirements for proper movement of claims through adjudication•Coordinate with compliance to provide education and guidance to new and existing clinical departments on appropriate charging
