The Lead Entity Program Coordinator manages the Board’s Lead Entity Program, which solicits and reviews local grant applications for funding through the Salmon Recovery Funding Board (SRFB) program. This position supports local project sponsors and serves as a liaison with the state’s Recreation and Conservation Office’s salmon recovery program staff.

• Identified erosion risk areas and installed erosion control features including wattles, rock dams, and Zuni bowls across 500 square miles• Transplanted native shrubs and seeded native grasses for revegetation projects on disturbed sites. Analyzed revegetation project progress using point intercept plot sampling• Installed boundary markers (Seibert Stakes) to protect ecologically and culturally sensitive areas• Navigated to remote sites and recorded data using Trimble Geo 7X GPS

Backyard Harvest believes everyone should have access to fresh produce and works in partnership with the community to connect those who have extra fresh produce with those who need it most. • Built strong working partnerships with 80 donors and 20 food access site managers, improving coordination during dynamic harvest seasons. Resulted in 25% growth ($18K) in fresh produce donations • Managed the storage, transportation, distribution, and recordkeeping of 72K pounds ($150K) of produce donations over two years• Managed volunteer communications, training, and supervision for over 400 volunteers, contributing to 100% growth in volunteer hours and 200% growth in repeat volunteers• Supervised and trained interns and new employees on operations and fruit handling• Designed an original 134-page produce guide for cooking on a budget
