This role started off as some 'work experience' at the end of seventh form (year 13 in today's terms!) back in 1992. After graduating from University in 1996, becoming a fully fledged Chartered Accountant in 1998, and a two year stint working in London in 1999/2000, I settled back into life in NZ and became a partner in Bailey Ingham Ltd in 2005.Bailey Ingham is a medium sized accounting firm with over 50 employees in three offices in the Waikato/King Country. The head office is in Otorohanga with offices also in Te Awamutu and Taumarunui. We specialise in rural accounting, small to medium sized businesses, trust administration and management and general financial advice. Our firm has clients throughout New Zealand, from Kaitaia to Invercargill as well as clients based overseas.

Based in the City of London this was an interesting role which covered daily, weekly and monthly reporting and analysis for a number of credit 'books', based in the Emirates and Gulf States. This was a short-term contract role to round off my 'OE' in London.

A real gem of a role, a 6-month short term contract, for the National Audit office based in the heart of London. This role took me on audit assignments in places throughout the UK and Germany, with my role as part of the audit team for the British Army. Most of the audit assignments took place in various UK army bases - a thoroughly enjoyable and at times challenging role.

A short-term role to start off my 'OE' in the UK, this role was based in Wembley (a dream come true for a football fanatic like me) and involved completing internal audit assignments in various locations throughout the Brent area in north London.
