I served as liaison to two standing committees of the State Bar of Texas, the Pattern Jury Charges—Criminal committee and the Real Estate Forms committee. The PJC—Criminal Committee is responsible for maintaining four published volumes of model jury instructions for use in criminal cases. I worked with committee members to create new charges and revise existing charges and commentary to reflect current statutory and case law. I worked with committee members to revise forms, create new forms, and update the commentary with the latest case law to aid practitioners. My other projects included writing and editing the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA) Reference Card, a resource for at-a-glance information on the DTPA. -
