My overall responsibility is to make sure the company's manufacturing processes are well performing and future proof, meeting tomorrow's demand of complex assembly, flexibility and cost. Designing software for enhancing performance of electronics manufacturing¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨ - MSD (Moisture Sensitive Device) lifecycle management, including control of soaking and drying time per carrier (reel, stick or tray). - Optimization of family kitting to SMT assembly line, including verifying production BOM vs machine program, suggesting jobs to kit together, calculating feeder distribution and balancing work load between mount heads, generating merged picking list, verifying picked material vs production BOM and assigning item-id's to feeders. - Tools for minimizing change-over-times in SMT assembly line including early indication of time to change, pre-verifying next job's setup including solder paste and solder stencil vs production BOM, visualization and logging lessons learned. All to make the first board in next job flow seemless after the last board of the previous job. - Tool to verify HMT materials vs BOM and creating and displaying instructions for component preparations including printing labels for component containers. - Production planning overview tool with settings to customize the view per production group. It displays the upcoming work orders, material status, resources required, WIP with progress status updated by the minute. All necessary information for the operator's decision making: what to do, when to do it, if it's ready to start, if there's special considerations, etc. - MPS-system managing processes from customer order, forecasting, inventory calculation, resource planning, materials procurement, work order releasing, shop floor time managing, outgoing shipments, to invoicing.Other:¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨- Rental of storage facilities. Typical customers are small local building construction companies storing materials and equipment.- Leasing of 30 ha agricultural land for crop production.- etc.

As the production manager my overall responsibility is making sure our customers are receiving their goods on time and meeting quality specification and at the same time keeping within calculated cost limits.My responsibilities include:- As member of the management team, participation in the company's strategic development, budgeting and setting new goals for the business.- Managing the continuous improvement process in the production, leading teams to find new ways to minimize waste, cutting lead times and improve quality.- Leading cross functional customer focus teams to improve customer value and company profitability by initiating improvement projects.- Project manager in larger improvement projects within the production domain.- Manage about 60 blue-collar workers and about 10 white-collar workers, including overall competence analysis, targeting training and education to future competence demand, resource allocation and staffing to meet production demand.- At some extent managing on the shop floor; prioritizing and distribute work orders.- Being the company's representative in union negotiations which make me versed in the collective agreements.- Being head of the internal environmental and safety work and leading the committee handling these issues.

Cervitrol (about 20 people) develops and manufacture customized electronics systems for industrial companies. In the manufacturing department we were 12 people and turned approx. 25MSEK. The manufacturing department managed everything from order to shipment, including material procurement, automatic and manual assembly of boards, assembly of complete project customized automation cabinets with system testing and shipment directly to end user. My responsibility included order processing, quotations processing, production planning, staffing, some pre-production engineering, ERP setup, strategic purchasing. I was also responsible for ensuring that the company had the right technical production equipment (tools, machinery, utilities, production layout etc.) to meet our customers’ needs and be competitive, and that the staff had the right training. Part of my job was to initiate and manage improvement projects targeting quality and efficiency in all production processes to increase profitability and competitiveness. It was by this time I got acquainted with both Lean and Six Sigma, and started implementing projects in 5S and cost reduction.In the late 1990’s I designed and implemented the MPS system Administrationscentralen that handles sales orders, work orders, inventory, purchasing, invoicing, time management, project accounting, etc., and it is still up and running as of 2015.In the early years of my employment at Cervitrol I worked as the single employee in the service/technical support/claims department doing everything from customer contact, quoting, repairing, shipping and billing. I also worked a couple of years as a junior electrical engineer with projects at RnD, including designing hardware, pcb laoyuts and firmware design (assembly code).
