Duties and responsibilities:• To develop and seek approval for the maintenance plans to support the achievement of the annualmaintenance plan and support the effective implementation of approved plans within set timelines tofacilitate uninterrupted operationsTo define scope of work, supervise and direct the Planners for the issuance of the maintenanceschedules for the Maintenance Teams, ensuring adherence to the maintenance plan and professionalengineering practices.• To supervise the verification of work orders received from different areas and ensure that they havebeen scheduled according to their priorities and resources availability.• To prepare and issue weekly planning schedule providing relevant information ensuring adherence tosystem standards.• To organize and supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within theplanning section maintenance department is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent withoperating procedures and policy.• To coordinate and ensure for planning, preparation, scheduling and timely execution of central and areamaintenance related in-house shutdown jobs which could have an impact on timely completion ofturnaround.• To recommend improvements to departmental procedures and facilitate the implementation ofrequirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers• To prepare periodical MIS and progress reports (e.g., status reports, weekly & bi-weekly planscompliance reports, maintenance performance indices reports, PM backlogs and other statistical andbenchmarking reports, etc.) to keep top management informed about the progress of all initiatives andto facilitate decision making.• To arrange the additional resources requirement in coordination with Contracts Engineer for all in-housemaintenance activities including shutdowns, major/ext
