I established Sonologue, a full service production house specializing in podcasts and spoken word content in 2008. We do radio programming, training and workshops in radio journalism, podcasts, playlists, production, editing, and anything audio that comes our way. Along the way I've helped create and launch several of India's seminal podcast series including Maed in India, Cyrus Says, The LSD 'cast, Tall Tales Takeaway and others. We hold frequent workshops on Podcasting basics, advanced podcasting, how to produce feature podcasts, writing and interviewing for the ear, and others. We've conducted trainings and done consultancies to onboard corporates, agencies, non profits and institutions into the world of podcasting. Podcast production clients include Tata Group HR, Sayfty, Bound India, The Consulate General of Canada in Mumbai, Tall Tales India. We've also done freelance production for PRI's the World, BBC's People Fixing the World, Crowdscience, HealthCheck, Outlook and The Cultural Frontline, Deutsche Welle's Living Planet & World in Progress. As creative head, I looked after all the content for our audio tours at AudioCompass. I created and oversaw every audio tours - from conceptualization of narrative technique, identifying script writers, and editing the script, through production with voice overs, studio edits and post production as well as supervising sound design, in several languages. I managed deadlines, budgest, freelancers, and vendors.

Over three years, I have led workshops on how to make stories come alive - whether on print or on radio. I've taught community groups, NGO's, and undergraduate as well as graduate journalism school students, including with Comet Media, the Community Radio Forum, Open Spaces, Maharashtra Network for Positive People, Breakthrough, the Sarojini Naidu School of Arts and Communication at the University of Hyderabad, Sophia College and more.

News Radio India was a short-lived freelance radio content firm - we specialized in short and medium form stories and commentaries from India for radio stations in Europe. Some of our stories were re-broadcast as far as Indonesia and America.

I headed up the Web content/development at Radio Today, The India Today/Living Media Group's flagship radio station. Radio Today is India's first radio station with a talk format. I was also a producer at the New Delhi station, working on four shows, including the evening drivetime "Tu Tu Meow Meow", night time "Meri Meow" and the Kiran Bedi show, filling in and co-hosting shows when required on-air, as well.

At the College of Engineering, I ran the Alumni Magazine and oversaw the news content for the Web site. I assigned, wrote, edited stories; coordinated photos; tailored content for the Web; updated the Web site.

As international editor and web editor, I coordinated a budget, edited 2 sections in the print paper and also for the web site, working with freelancers to develop and edit stories, balancing the calendar, and also wroting stories myself.

As one of news producer I was responsible for putting news online at boston.com - placing story elements from the Boston Globe online, doing a few original pieces and slideshows.
