Commercial/ residential Space Planner & Services

• Participate in the planning and development of long-range space plans to meet future institutional space needs (whole foods market, Bristol farms market, wholesome choice market, Kirk supermarket)• Propose the best design and space planning approach for more efficient environment, based on modern construction industry best practices• Influence decision making by providing analysis and recommendations• Responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive space inventory with utilization metrics. Conduct building audits to verify that employee location, furniture layout and room configuration are correctly noted on floor/fixture plans• Verify accuracy of data, updates as necessary after renovation and construction projects.• Coordinate/document space changes with record drawing and databases • Initiate project participation and coordination working with other department for furniture selection and specification, including furniture types, layout and material election for future procurement.• Meet with clients to determine space needs and prepare Auto CAD & InDesign drawings• Develop required presentation color rendering, schematic bubble, perspective sketches and model for further evaluations and approval, using various computer graphic applications.

• Provide space analysis under supervision of the Design Manager on various layouts.• Assist in developing organizational objectives, developing specific short-term and long- range plans, and ensure that assigned work objectives are attained and schedules are met.• Provide complex and details design layouts of new and existing commercial space and furniture as needed for projects such as Vons, Safeway, Long drugs, Ralphs.• Develop move plans and space strategies utilizing bubble diagrams as necessary for strategic and tactical planning.
