Directly report to Board of Directors and taking day to day operation and P&L responsibilities of INEX group, including INEX INNOVATE and iGene Laboratory.

- In an advisory capacity to identify appropriate A*STAR technologies that can be showcased in FusionWorld, an A*STAR organization that features a dynamic and interactive showcase of award-winning inventions and cutting edge in-house and industry-collaboration prototype created by A*STAR’s research institutes.

- Worked 50% of time with a local SME to design and develop an ovarian cancer diagnostics kit through A*STAR T-UP program.- Developed testing plans and procedures to take the product from engineering verification to CE registration.- Managed and worked with suppliers to establish manufacturing process and procedures for product production.- Obtained CE IVD registration for the diagnostic kit. - Established Good Distribution Practice for Medical Devices (GDPMDS) quality management system for the company

- Designed and fabricated PDMS-based microfluidic chips for applications of single cell lysis for HIV p24 antibody/antigen-based sensor/diagnostics system.- Integrated microcontroller and electronics for a portable optical chemiluminescence-based biosensor system.- Mentored three summer students to design and develop microfluidics chips for biosensor applications.

Topic: Chemical Gas Sensor Recalibration TechnologyI was developing and evaluating recalibration technologies to be integrated with commercial portable chemical gas analyzers. This work resulted from collaboration with the Naval Research Laboratory. I organized and provided literature and patent searches of relevant competitive technologies in the market. The technology was of interest to a commercial chemical sensor system company for licensing.
