I worked on a year-long independent Honours Thesis supervised by Professor Marie Yap and Dr Wan Hua Sim from the Parenting and Youth Mental Health Lab.My research was qualitative research project, based on the autism adaptation of the Parenting Resilient Kids program (PaRK). PaRK is a parenting program that helps parents with school-aged children prevent or reduce the development of anxiety and depression. My project aimed to gain insight into the lived experiences of parents and families living with autism and how parenting programs can be adapted to better support these families.
