I provide advice to Financial Institutions identifying investment opportunities in the NPE market and, at the same time, promoting the deleverage for bank clients. I have the responsibility of non core asset extraordinary transactions, leading the execution of the most suitable strategy direct to maximise the value, acting both sell side and buy side.Main projects I am involved in refer to bad loans and UTP credit portfolios, special situation/single names, RE assets, business in run off and platform.My essential responsibilities are: ˗ develop of commercial pipeline and identification of business opportunities;˗ definition of commercial proposal;˗ team leading;˗ project execution and fronting with the client;˗ PMO: coordination of other advisors involved and counterparties;˗ SPA negotiation;˗ management and monitoring of the engagements.I am specialized in the Real Estate Leasing product.I collaborated with Assilea – the Italian leasing Association. Within Deals Division, Business Recovery Services Group, I was involved in advisory projects related to Non Performing Loans and Non Performing Exposures both buy side and sell side.As Lead Financial Advisor, I provide advice in:˗ sale and acquisition of credit and asset portfolios;˗ DD and valuation of loan and lease exposures;˗ single names analysis (UTP e bad loans);˗ platform disposal or acquisition;˗ SPA negotiation;˗ execution of the project, and PMO activity.I developed strong relationship with international Investment funds, Banks and Credit Servicers to identify the best opportunities on the NPL market and provide technical support on structuring, managing and negotiation of the deal.

I was responsible for the analysis, assessment and reduction of credit risk. I managed the NPLs portfolio, ensuring that specific actions were taken to maximise GE Capital Interbanca’s recovery while protecting the Bank from potential credit claims.My essential responsibilities: ˗ timely identification and assessment of credit risks. Definition of the strategy to contain and eliminate risk;˗ negotiation of Waivers and restructuring Agreements;˗ define Legal actions and coordinate legal advisors in order to achieve an effective recovery; ˗ manage of accounting issues under IFRS and US GAAP (specific and collective provisions, write-offs, release);˗ submission of the most suitable decisions to the Committee and to the Board (waiver, vote in the bankruptcy proceedings, credit assignment, securities release, rating FED and BI); - NPLs quarterly report to HQ;˗ “sofferenze rettificate – allargate” BoI half year report to the Board.I fulfilled my duties with flexibility, maintaining the ability to react quickly to events that could impact the Bank's balance sheet, giving priority to those which presented a higher credit risk.

I coordinated legal advisors’ activities aimed to support GE Capital Services Srl, GE Leasing and Renting Italease business (FLEET - EF) recovery activities, in particular on civil litigation, enforcement and bankruptcy proceedings. Furthermore I was responsible for the accurate valuation loans and losses of the portfolio (both under ITA GAAP / US GAAP).I also started criminal proceedings directed to recover Company’s assets leased or rented.

I dealt with ordinary civil litigation, debt collection, debt restructuring agreements, as well as enforcement procedure and real estate securities.
