The European Society for Medical Oncology is the reference company at European level for education and training in the field of oncology. The Education Department I work in is responsible for disseminating the latest news in the field of scientific research and common practices in the treatment of cancer patients through tailor-made face-to-face and virtual educational courses. As Education Coordinator, I am in charge of organizing such events and among the tasks I am responsible for there are:• Make sure scientific materials are ready and available to participants• Choose the appropriate premises, prepare contracts, ensure technology is properly set up, manage hotel accommodation• Make sure speakers are well coordinated for the event, have prepared their presentations and materials• Take care of participants’ enrolment and accommodation• Prepare a statistical report after each event• Invoicing and budgeting activities

As Internal Communication Trainee I supported the implementation of all communication programs occurred across the organization aimed at building a strong culture of collaboration, creating experiences that engage and keeping employees up-to-date.
