English**I worked during two months in an auction house. I was assisting the auctioneers in their work, which included helping them with the expert assessments, typing the descriptions of the objects and artworks, welcoming the visitors and guiding them through the exhibition, answering the phone, taking the pictures of the objects for the upcoming sales, and helping with the organization of the sales. It was a great opportunity for me to learn about the functioning of an auction house, and deepen my knowledge about particular objects and works of art. I could also assist and take part in an auction sale, by monitoring the phone and calling the clients who wanted to raise the bid remotely.French**J'ai travaillé pendant deux mois dans une maison de vente aux enchères. J'assistais les commissaires-priseurs dans leur travail, ce qui consistait à les aider dans les expertises, taper les descriptions des objets et des œuvres, accueillir les visiteurs et les guider à travers l'exposition, répondre au téléphone, prendre les photos des objets pour les catalogues et le site internet et aider à l'organisation des ventes. Ce fut pour moi une belle occasion de découvrir le fonctionnement d'un hôtel des ventes et d'approfondir mes connaissances sur certains objets et oeuvres d'art. J'ai également pu assister et participer à une vente aux enchères, en m'occupant du téléphone et en appelant les clients qui souhaitaient enchérir à distance.
