When asked about what I do, I often respond: “I listen”.I listen to the people I get to work with. People who have passions, aspirations, dreams.And I listen to the spaces I get to work with. Every space has its own unique anatomy, with its own qualities and quirks. The light changes in a space throughout the day and so does the way it’s used and it’s important to fully understand these nuances. For me design is all about listening to these two voices and combining them into one unique, functional, and cohesive vision that is tailored to both equally.I strive to deliver projects with integrity that always honour a space’s history, architecture, and context. Proportions, natural light, and balanced compositions are the key elements of my aesthetics.
