At Bending Spoons we think, design, develop, distribute and market mobile apps, used and loved by millions all around the world.Splice is the world’s highest ranking mobile video editing app by revenues. At Splice I led a cross-functional team of talented designers, developers, QA and data scientists on a mission to empower anyone to become a video creator. I focused on making Splice more simple and learnable for users, in order to better retain and convert the many inexperienced creators landing on the app.

I co-founded e-Novus (now Futurize), with the aim of bringing together an ecosystem of aspiring innovators and entrepreneurs to generate impactful ideas. Through the creation of bespoke entrepreneurship programs, we enabled universities and businesses to connect, inspire and grow their communities.Spinning out from the Imperial Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club, we set up our own agency to start organising large-scale virtual hackathons for universities and businesses. Our last event was Innovating Smart Cities 2020: an 8-day innovation hackathon organized for Imperial College and Tsinghua University, which involved ~300 people from around the globe. The organisation entailed coming up with an agenda, finding and liaising with judges, mentors and speakers, setting up online platforms for collaboration and events (pre-Hopin), finding corporate sponsorship, etc.

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club is a student-led careers club, which is a part of Imperial Business School's careers service. As Head of Events, I co-led the organisation of multiple events, workshops, talks and competitions tailored to students who want to start their own business or are interested in changing the world through innovation. Most notable events:- ‘COVID-19 Recovery Challenge’: a week-long innovation hackathon open to students from Harvard, LSE, UCL and ITESM. 300+ people involved between participants, mentors, judges and sponsors. - ‘Code to care, and everything in between’: a week-long hackathon focused on HealthTech. 26 universities participated across the world.Some other events organised: - An evening with female CEOs (panel chaired by me) - Upcoming innovation in marketing (panel chaired by me) - Talk with the authors of bestselling book, "The Unfair Advantage"- Workshop on using a landing page to validate demand with co-founder of Yulife- Talk with chief executive of Holition - Navigating the startup world with Founder of Supreme Factory and Co-director of Startup Grind

Molo is a London-based fintech startup digitizing and automating the mortgage application process.As Product Owner for a cross-functional scrum team focused on the business goal of conversion, I:- Defined the long-term roadmap for the squad, working to boost customer conversion by both improving the user experience as well as optimising marketing-related conversion. - Managed the sprint backlog, championing a ‘build-test-learn’ approach by ensuring that the team were delivering new iterations at each sprint.- Collaborated with UX designers to run user testing sessions. Identified and tested hypotheses to better understand customer pain points that were resulting in drop-offs during the journey. - Ran workshops to generate innovative solutions to pain points, and translated the ideas into detailed and actionable sprint requirements (user stories) for the team of developers.- Facilitated all in-team sprint ceremonies, and managed communications with business stakeholders.

As part of a university assignment, I worked on a consultancy project for tech startup SenSat. By pairing drone technology with advanced geospatial software, SenSat digitally recreates places, ultimately with the aim to 'digitise the world'. The 3 month long project entailed constructing a business expansion strategy, with a particular focus on what markets and locations SenSat should attempt to enter.
