• Leads project planning, research, policy analysis in the production of deliverables such as: reports, issue briefs, case studies, webinars, policy memos, and in-person meetings for state health officials, with a particular focus on policies affecting populations with chronic or complex health care needs.• Writes and edits extensively for written deliverables and online publications: primary author or coauthor of several published articles regarding policy levers for populations with complex health care needs. • Provides technical assistance to implementation workgroups and learning communities comprised of health policymakers from a multiplicity of state and federal agencies. • Leads planning for in-person meetings and webinars: identifies and works with speakers to develop content material; commands logistics both in preparation for and during in-person meetings; plans sessions and programming for NASHP’s annual health policy conference.• Executed development and planning as the lead organizer of the HIV Health Improvement Affinity Group in-person meeting attended by 100 people, and as co-lead of a preconference regarding the opioid epidemic, which had over 125 attendees. • Supports grant writing and participates in development meetings to generate proposals for funders and grow NASHP’s portfolio of work. • Works closely with NASHP’s Communications Team to develop infographics, promote events on a national scale, and disseminate findings from project work. • Creates and maintains environmental scans, databases, and other systems to monitor legislative activities and inform policy analysis for internal and external audiences. • Travels nationally to conduct key informant interviews, site visits, and in-person meetings.

• Compiled databases, summaries, demographic reports, and presentations related to understanding and accelerating women’s ascension in the workforce. • Designed and populated a Speakers Bureau of over 175 professional women with achievements specific to WLI’s mission. • Traveled between New York City and the District of Columbia to present research findings, projects, and new ideas to the WLI Steering Committee and Executive Committee. • Began as a full-time intern over the summer, and was asked to stay on the project on a part-time basis while completing my undergraduate education.
