As a student analyst with the Michigan Sport Consulting Group (MSCG), the nation’s first undergraduate sport consulting group, I collaborate with a 60-member, student-run organization that provides hands-on consulting experience in the sport business industry. MSCG partners with prominent clients such as Major League Baseball, the Miami Dolphins, and the New York Mets. The diverse team, made up of students from 14+ academic majors, works to deliver innovative solutions to real-world challenges. Through these engagements, I have been developing my personal and professional skills while contributing strategic insights and recommendations to drive client success.

As a member of the Talent Acquisition Team, I have played a key role in preparing for the recruitment of new analysts. This involved attending diversity, equity, and inclusion meetings to ensure our recruiting practices align with our commitment to growth, collaboration, and innovation. I worked closely to understand the specific needs of the club, prepared for interviews by understanding and developing insightful questions, as well as creating case prompts for the case interviews. I conducted many interviews with my other peers on the Talent Acquisition Team, and thoroughly analyzed all of the applicants. My efforts contributed to successfully recruiting the Fall 2024 New Analyst Program class, ensuring we attracted and selected top talent for the upcoming group of students.

As a Fan Experience Intern with Michigan Athletics, I am passionate about creating exciting, unique, and memorable experiences that build a strong emotional connection between fans, teams, and student-athletes. In this role, I assist in developing and executing promotions, giveaways, and student engagement efforts for various Michigan Athletic teams. My responsibilities include managing on-field and on-court promotions, coordinating the distribution of giveaways, and serving as the on-site liaison for special guests such as national anthem singers and halftime performers. I also help contribute to managing student engagement programs like UMICH Hail and the Wolverine Kids Club. Throughout my experiences so far, I have gained hands-on exposure to event execution, introductory marketing strategies, and game-day production elements, while strengthening my organizational, communication, and teamwork skills. This role allows me to contribute to the Michigan Athletics brand, enhancing the fan experience while developing my professional abilities in a fast-paced environment.

As the Social Chair for the University of Michigan Women's Club Lacrosse Team, I utilized my communication and organizational skills to coordinate with team members, captains, and coaching staff, ensuring active participation and high turnout for all team activities. I plan and execute monthly social events, including team dinners, bonding activities, and travel-related events, which foster a cohesive and supportive team culture. Additionally, I creatively market the team events and opportunities through social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok, and I design engaging event posters to drive attendance at special events.

In my role, I adapted to new technologies such as Adobe Photoshop to create visually appealing edits of athletes and recruits as well as staying current with industry trends. I supported the coaching and operations staff by assisting with schedule logistics for practices, meetings, meals, and travel, optimizing time management and event execution. Additionally, I captured action shots during practices, providing valuable imagery for team archives, coaches, and promotional marketing efforts.

As a Marketing Intern at Drench Dressings and Marinades, I gained hands-on experience in digital marketing, sales, and strategy. I was responsible for creating engaging social media content, organizing the company’s TikTok shop, and analyzing customer insights to adjusting marketing approaches. Additionally, I worked sales at farmers markets, applying marketing strategies to improve product awareness and increase customer engagement. This internship provided me with a comprehensive understanding of digital marketing, customer insights, and the importance of authentic brand storytelling.

Through one-on-one networking, mentorship programs, speaker events, discussions, and collaborations with other student organizations, MWESE strives to build a supportive community. During my time at Wabeek Country Club, I gained valuable experiences working poolside and bartending, while serving hundreds of guests each day. I regularly ensured customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns, providing personalized service, and adapting to different environments. Additionally, I was responsible for handling cash and credit transactions, ensuring accuracy and security, and organizing bills and receipts for management processing.

As a New Analyst with the Michigan Sport Consulting Group, I participated in a comprehensive New Analyst Program that enhanced my consulting skills through focused training in project meetings, business analytics, Microsoft Excel, public speaking, and slide deck creation. This program allowed me to tackle growth and strategy projects effectively. My role included working on a mock project for AC Milan Soccer Team, where I contributed to developing strategies to grow the team's American Gen Z fan base. This involved creating city-specific activations and logistics for a hypothetical U.S. tour, allowing me to apply and refine my skills in a practical, real-world context.

Developed strong skills working with media, public relations, and promotional and developmental concepts. I have achieved results and gained experience in the sports industry. In this role I have contributed to the development and execution of promotional campaigns for special events, such as themed game nights at the ball park, giveaways, and community outreach programs. Actively participated in various operational tasks to enhance the overall game experience. This included managing fan engagement activities as well as assisting hundreds of fans in their experience.

Operated with technology and used data entry in patients charts by using EPIC, an electronic medical record system, to bring new technology to the healthcare world and share the benefits with others. Managed over 600 patient records a day, including intake and registration, ensuring accuracy, completeness of all necessary information, and maintaining the HIPAA guidelines. Facilitated greeting patients and visitors in a professional manner, answering questions and providing assistance as needed by taking patient calls for direction and registering virtual appointments.
