On 26th May, 2019, despite being on Erasmus, I managed to be elected city councilor with a left-wing list, ‘Centrosinistra per Reggiolo’, which committed to the re-election of the previous mayor, Roberto Angeli. I currently participate in the monthly assemblies of the entire council of the municipality and in the regular meetings of my party group, discuss local arrangements and steps to adopt, help to arrange and conduct events in Reggiolo.

I am currently working as a sales assistant for Salewa, a brand which is part of the Oberalp S.p.a. group and producing professional clothing and equipment for mountain life. I had the chance to work for the Faculty of Physics as an academic tutor. As I won the job seat by open competition, I was trained to perform the basic tasks related to distance learning. My roles involved helping professors with Microsoft Teams and tools for online lectures, such as personal computers, different types of cameras and microphones.

During summer 2020, I sometimes worked for Gea Events, a promoter agency which supported Lifebrain laboratories in conducting anti-Covid-19 tests and samples on behalf of Ferrari. My roles there included working with online platforms and software for the registration of Ferrari employees who had to undergo tests in Maranello. I also occasionally worked as a promoter for the chain of dental centers “Primo”, by offering passers-by their high-quality treatments. I worked for the tax office (OCR) of this enterprise, which offers services for small and medium firms located in Emilia-Romagna (the region where I live). My tasks consisted in keeping track of clients’ invoices and registering them thanks to a type of software invented by Lapam itself, named ‘Digital Lapam OCR’. The system could not read all invoices by itself, so we had to fill blank spaces in as fast as possible.
