I recently embarked on a PhD journey funded by Techne to explore the potential for community radio and audio to engage with environmental communication, and specifically communication about, by and through the river Danube. I began engaging with environmental and sustainability issues following an MSc in Conservation Science and Policy and have used radio and audio production to curate a platform for issues and people.Before this, I worked alongside human rights defenders and activists as an advocate, peace-building, and communication professional in countries such as Nepal, Ecuador, and Colombia.
