• Research focus: The consequences of individual variation in the foraging behaviour of adult Northern Gannets (Morus bassanus) on Bass rock. In collaboration with the Scottish Seabird CentreMain responsibilities:

• Advanced planning of return trips from Leeds to Bass rock (contacting the Scottish seabird centre to obtain the permission to go on the rock and the boatmen to assure weather condition was ideal and the Emergency plan.
• Data Collection and Equipment preparation (Binoculars, GPS tracking devices, food, clothing and Emergency kit).
• Leading a group of 2-3 people on the Bass Rock (showing them how to behave with birds, the path to follow and training them in how to observe birds and get accurate data).
• Data Analysis with Advanced statistic software (SPSS,R).
