Developing speech-language and swallowing services for people who needs support in accessing instrumental assessments (e.g. FEES & VFSS) and management in speech-language/communication. My time is split between building awareness towards our services and providing continuous learning/training for staff nurses and other healthcare colleagues. We are working on implementating programmes that could help with patient safety and quality of life in dysphagia.

Besidesmedically complex pediatric cases, I have also supported adults who have difficulties in speech-language, cognitive communication skills, voice, aural rehabilitation, and swallowing.Whilst at my position, I actively volunteered with local charities and organisations in providing accessible speech-language therapy and support. Some of the organisations include Mari Membaca and Angel Heart where strategies of book-sharing to improve pediatric communication skills and language stimulation tips were shared with the local communities.
