I was for six years a member of the board of trustees of Infratel Italia SpA. Infratel is controlled by Invitalia, the National Agency for Investments Attraction. Invitalia acts as the operational arm of the National Ministry of Economic Development (now MIMIT). Infratel is responsible for the Italian strategy for next generation access network (NGA). Over 3 billion Euros were invested by Infratel, starting in 2016 through 2023, directly and indirectly in over 8.000 Italian townships, with the goal of connecting 100% of the Italian population with at least 30 mbps and over 50% at 100 mbps.In 2022, 7 billion euros funding, within the EU Recovery and Resilience Plan, were assigned to Infratel, acting as the contracting authority, for the further development of connectivity. These funds were allocated for infrastructures and services related to the 1 Giga Italy Plan, the Connected Health Plan, phase 2 of the Schools Plan and the 5G Italy Plan.On the Board of Directors of Infratel my contribution concerned: the definition of management incentives (MBO) based on the strategic mission of the company and the state of progress of the projects; the verification of the timing and critical issues that could slow down the completion of the investments; verifying the adequacy of the organisational structure in relation to the projects gradually assigned; the assessment of risks connected to the implementation and management of tenders and contracts for the construction of infrastructure for the development of connectivity.

ARST runs also the “Trenino Verde” a touristic railway of 437 Km.In ARST I realized, within 24 months, a complete corporate turnaround that - through the accounting separation of 9 lines of activity, the analysis of long-term trends, performance assessment, the disposal of credits, the renegotiation of the fees for service contracts - brought the Company back to profit starting a virtuous path of consolidation and growth.

I was Partner in Consorzio IRIS the italian subsidiary of Battelle 21 AG, a research and consulting company operating within the Battelle Memorial Institute (USA), which acts as a global coordinator in various fields, including environmental management, renewable energy and agribusiness.

IED is an international education network in the field of design, creativity and fashion with graduate and undergraduate courses approved by Italian Ministry of Education. In IED CAGLIARI I was:- Business Strategy and Marketing Adjunct Professor in both graduate and undergraduate courses;- Head of Master in Digital Marketing for Tourism.

For CIN I worked as a strategic consultant for Tirrenia the main Italian maritime passenger transport company. For Tirrenia I developed proposals in marketing, logistics and other strategic areas in order to strengthen its role in Sardinia.

From 2011 to 2013, I was Vice Chairman of the Industry, Tourism, Trade, Employment & Energy Committee.From 2005 to 2011, I was a member of the Budget and Planning Committee.From 2004 to 2005, I was Secretary of the Urban Planning, Roads & Transport, Navigation & Harbours and Public Works Committee.

I was the founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Soleja (formerly Professionisti Associati). Then I became a director of the Alchera Group after the acquisition of Soleja by the Milan group in 2001. From 2005 to 2007, completed the sale of the advertising line of business, I was responsible of the close-out of the non-strategic assets of Soleja and its subsidiaries.Soleja was one of the most innovative Italian advertising agencies creating the historic advertising campaigns for Video On Line (VOL), with whom, in 15 months from mid-1994, we developed and coordinated advertising campaigns in 30 countries and in 18 different languages around the world. We signed the advertising campaigns for Telecom Italy Net (TIN) in the start-up which followed the acquisition of VOL and Tiscali, from its launch in Italy in 1996 until 2004, through its stages of expansion at European and international level. Soleja won over 35 national awards for its advertising campaigns and, in terms of turnover, was one of the major wholly Italian-owned agencies, with primary clients such as Auchan, La Rinascente, Gondrand, Bartolini, Luxottica (brands: Persol, Arnette and Killer Loop), Riello Group (brands: Riello burners, Beretta), Whirlpool, Mandarina Duck, the Turin Winter Olympics and many others.

I was a consultant with BIC (Business Innovation Centre) Sardegna, a business innovation centre started, as a European project, to provide support to business start-ups. In BIC Sardegna, I followed several projects including environmental education, innovation in construction methods and the recovery and recycling of waste materials from various production sectors.

I was responsible for the supply of raw materials and products to the former Naples refinery and to their major distribution depots in Italy. I was responsible for managing a monthly budget of around USD 30 million.
