As President of Katz Direct I oversee a team of sales professionals who handle the placement of Direct Response Short Form, Program Time Sales and Paid Religion advertising for advertising agencies and the 700+ Television stations we represent. Our mission is to maximize revenue for our customer, the advertising agencies, and our client Television stations. Twenty-five years ago, Katz Direct was formed to address a growing category of direct response advertising for Katz Television Group. While initially its future was uncertain, my team and I are proud to have played a key role in Katz Direct’s development as an integral part of Katz Media, the nation’s oldest broadcasting media rep firm. I was honored with an induction into the Direct Response Hall of Fame, for direct response marketers, in recognition of my efforts in building Katz Direct.The landscape has changed dramatically during my 35 years with Katz Media, but one constant has been my dedication to serving our clients and customers.One of my greatest passions is mentoring women in broadcast media and communications across six countries; which came about through my involvement with the USIA (U.S. Information Agency.) As an active member of The Alliance for Women in media I’ve supported young women who have grown into broadcast industry leaders.
