As one of the first team sports scientists at the club my roles include: -setting up and taking of warm ups for both matches and training sessions-preparation of and implementing recovery strategies such ice baths and recovery shakes-ensuring appropriate supplementation is available for the players -Testing of players for wellness, body fats, dehydration and other factors that may affect an individual's ability to perform -Monitoring of training loads using RPE questionnaires and Polar heart rate monitors -provide feedback to the managerial and coaching staff on the above mentioned information -working closely with the players to get feedback on sessions and to help meet their needs-work together with the medical team to aid in injury prevention and rehabilitation where appropriate
