David was born and raised in Fort Worth, before earning an economics degree from the University of Texas-Austin and completing the graduate school curriculum in environmental studies specializing in civic planning and economics at Baylor University.He’s gone on to complete an advanced realtor certification: GRI, Graduate Realtor Institute. Prior to running the real estate group, David was a world-class tournament poker player. He was featured in the Time Magazine article, ‘Attack of the Math Brats’ and at one time was ranked the #1 poker player in the world. David offices in the heart of Fort Worth’s Cultural District, down the street from the family’s shopping center, where he serves as a Director for the Camp Bowie public improvement district (PID) and serves on the board of directors for Camp Bowie Incorporated. Having bought and sold over $75,000,000 of residential, commercial, and ranch real estate around D/FW in the past decade, David has proven to be one of the most in-the-know real estate experts in the area.His wife Michaela has lived all over the world: from the Philippines to Hawaii to California to Las Vegas. Michaela and David Chicotsky met at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles at a charity event. She was a marketing executive working for the owner of a world-wide clothing brand where she traveled around the country auditing stores.David’s strong personality and family ties ultimately were enough to persuade her to give Texas a shot; low and behold she’s found a great city in Fort Worth to put down roots.
