Undertook governmental projects with a primary focus on community planning, social justice, and participatory design for the Building and Planning Research Foundation. One of the projects I handled aimed at developing a community with significant cultural heritage. A major challenge was effectively conveying project prospects to the community leaders. I conducted multiple workshops and interviews with locals to communicate project goals and understand community ideals. I also improved town landmarks by leading 6 site renovations. The conservation of a world heritage site was another initiative that I took as a Planner. I discovered and reported potential uses for the site by thoroughly researching its history, quality, and area. While doing so, I performed interviews with the local population to ensure that the redevelopment aligned with the community’s ideology for the site. Besides advancing community development and site preservation, I proposed optimal solutions to convert a previous housing site into a facility for low-income elderly and people with mental disabilities. Key Accomplishments:- Led community visioning, engagement, and betterment by organizing 6 workshops and a festival.- Commended by community for writing a people’s history book.
