Community Development Manager
CurrentServes as Georgia Municipal (GMA) Association’s Community Development Manager. Responsibilities include: Serves as point of contact for inquiries related to community and economic development, downtown development, project finance, and housing for GMA membership and general public; design team for Heart & Soul Workshop; Downtown Development Authority training; serves on GMA Editorial Board; design and planning team for Georgia Placemaking Collaborative; planning team for Georgia Initiative for Community Housing; PlanFirst steering committee and selection committee member; GoodUse grant program selection committee member; serves as GMA District 2 Representative.Serves as Georgia Cities Foundation’s (GCF) Loan Program Manager for all of GCF’s loan programs throughout the state. Related responsibilities include: serving as a liaison for GCF lending programs to city and elected staff throughout Georgia, Downtown Development Authorities, Main Street Managers, and perspective borrowers; coordination of loan document preparation and loan processing; managing related state and federal compliance.
