I am currently an Industrial Designer at Big W, creating products for our own inhouse brands. In the past year I have helped to launch Big W’s own homeware’s brand “Openook”, toy brand “Somersault” and refreshed fitness brand “Circuit” and entry level brand “Brilliant Basics”. “Somersault” became the first brand to crack the weekly $1m sales mark for any in-house Big W brand.Working within a design team, the trend team, closely with local and overseas suppliers, partnering with category managers, QA and legal to develop competitive on brand products. My strengths include: CAD skills, working across multiple categories and timelines, relationships with end to end teams, research and information gathering, adapting to change during the company’s growth transformation period, energy and enthusiasm.
