About Chih Lin

After working in corporate America for over 18 years, my husband and I made a bold decision to pursue a passion that was rooted in connection, creativity, and authenticity. In 2019, we left behind the corporate ladder to launch Dumpling Dudezβ„’, a company built around creating the most fun and unique experiences. Our mission is simple: to bring people together through fun, hands-on, and creative experiences. Dumplings are our medium for connection, but the essence is about fostering joy, creativity, and togetherness. We’re proud to have created the world’s first and only rainbow dumpling-making experiences, teaching thousands of people and curating hundreds of corporate team-building events. Each session is not just about making food; it’s about creating memories, sparking creativity, and building meaningful connections.Over the past five years, I’ve learned that entrepreneurship goes far beyond business strategies and marketing tactics. It’s about peopleβ€”understanding them, connecting with them, and creating something meaningful together. Dumpling Dudez has taught me the value of building relationships and fostering authentic connections, lessons that have also transformed how I view marketing, branding, and storytelling.My background in corporate America, paired with my experience as an entrepreneur, has given me a unique perspective. I’ve taken the discipline, processes, and strategic thinking from my corporate life and merged them with the creativity, flexibility, and human connection that comes from running a business. I now consult other businesses, using my superpower to help them tell their stories, build brands, and create lasting impact.As we prepare for our next chapterβ€”a move to Portland at the end of 2024β€”my husband and I are excited to expand our creative vision. We’re evolving beyond dumplings to explore new ventures like publishing a book, launching a podcast, offering mindfulness and yoga experiences, creating digital courses, and leading mastermind workshops. Dumpling Dudez gave us the confidence to make this leap, and we can’t wait to see what new adventures and possibilities lie ahead.
