The Education Design Lab is a 501c3 non-profit that designs, tests, and implements unique higher education models that address the rapidly changing economy and emerging technology opportunities. The Lab demonstrates where technology, rigor, and design can improve equity, opportunity, and economic dynamism for historically non-traditional learners and workers and the country as a whole. The Lab has partnered with organizations like the University of Maryland, the University of Virginia, Arizona State University, the United Negro College Fund, and Georgetown University. Chike is the inaugural Head of Economic Mobility Pathways for Education Design Lab where he leads the Community College Growth Engine Fund, a tri-sector multimillion dollar effort to ensure community colleges are bridges to employment for all. Working with six community colleges from across the country along with stakeholders from each geography like employers, chambers of commerce, K-12 school districts, and labor unions, the Lab will help design credential pathways that will help get almost 4,000 learners into work by the end of 2022. Even more importantly, this work will provide a model for the country to help employ millions more.

The Consortium for Advancing Adult Learning & Development (CAALD) is a new interdisciplinary network of leading thinkers and doers drawn together by the possibility of re-imagining how businesses and society approach adult learning and growth—from workplace training to workforce re-skilling, higher ed to ed tech.
